Sign on the Dotted Line shows workers that simply by signing the card or petition, they are hiring the union as their legal representative "in all matters pertaining to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment and other conditions of employment."
Workers are reminded that with sufficient signed cards, a union can be recognized by the NLRB as the representative of every employee without any vote.
