This program explains what companies and employees can do to reduce the threat and address misinformation. Topics included in this safety video are:  pre-incident planning, discuss this issue ahead of time, create a response plan, coordinate your plan with local authorities, be suspicious of letters that do not have a return address, firms should isolate and secure air-intake areas and shut down or securely protect those that may be at ground level, characteristics of envelopes containing alleged anthrax including return addresses typed on adhesive labels, words spelled incorrectly, return addresses and postmarks don't match, business is unfamiliar, envelope is addressed generically, envelopes or packages come from businesses without business stationary, packages are unexpected, letter and parcels.

Additional indicators include excessive postage, incorrect titles, titles without names, oily stains or discoloration, rigid envelope, restrictive markings such as confidential or personal excessive securing material such as masking tape, string, etc., lopsided or uneven envelope, no return address, poorly written or typed envelopes, if an envelope with powder spills out make a list of all people who had contact with the powder and give to local law enforcement officials, if package is marked with a threatening message such as “ANTHRAX, if there is aerosilation.
