Asbestos containing materials hidden within existing products have been in use for thousands of years.  Asbestos has been used for many products such as fire proofing, pipe insulation, theatre curtains, siding, roofing, gaskets and packing, water and sewer pipe, and more. In water and waste water applications, asbestos cement pipe may contain as much as 20% asbestos or more which is used as re-enforcement for the pipe.  The types of asbestos used are both the serpentine (Chrysotile) and amphibole (Amosite and Crocidolite).

Basic Electrical Safety In The Workplace - There are different types of electricity or electrical energy: low voltage, high voltage, static electricity, alternating current, direct current, and so on. Static electricity is quite common.  Static electricity originates when 2 different materials are brought together such as the soles of the shoes and the carpet, then they are separated. When the 2 materials are forced apart, two different kinds of electricity are produced.
